As part of HeartSmart topic on Fake is a Mistake, we have been learning about allergies; what different allergies there are and why some people suffer from them. We did a scenario where one child stood in front of another-  one  had an allergy, the other child held one of the allergy cards. As the card approached, the child pretending to have an allergy responded to the allergen appropriately (e.g. sneezed for a pollen allergy).

We have also disscussed what ‘shame’ is and that to stop us feeling shame we need to be able to spot it and replace it with truth. We worked in pairs to sort phrases into ‘shame’ and ‘truth’.
