Class 4 created a model of the digestive system.
First, we mashed a banana and water in a bowl, The masher represented our teeth, and the water our saliva.
Then we put the contents into a sandwich bag, and squeezed them whilst adding vinegar. The sandwich bag represented the stomach, and the vinegar our stomach acids.
Lastly, we poured the food into some tights, they represented the intestines. What came out represented the nutrients our body would take out, and what was left behind was the waste!
